Our track and field training aka running class, in Bedok Stadium will always go on despite raining, stadium closed or even public holidays. If it rains, we will train under the shelter in the stadium. If the stadium is closed, we will train outside around the stadium.
Our SAGA coaches are passionate, who train athletes and kids during weekends and usually even public holidays.
If there is any cancellation of a training session, which is usually due to severe haze or pandemic, we will inform you accordingly in advance.
Otherwise, our SAGA private training in Bedok Stadium will still go on as usual.
Team SAGA Athletics Private Training | Track and Field Training | Running Class in Bedok Stadium
TEAM SAGA has a long history of success in Athletics / Track and Field with proven results.
Through our SAGA Athletics Private Training aka Running Class, We observe the strengths of each athlete and put him or her in the most suitable events. We commonly train our athletes (small kids, primary school kids, secondary school kids, adults and masters) for the following track and field events:
- Sprinting (40 metres, 60 metres, 80 metres, 100 metres, 200 metres, 300 metres, 400 metres)
- Middle and Long Distance (600 metres, 800 metres, 1000 metres, 1500 metres etc.)
- Hurdles
- Long Jump
- High Jump
- Triple Jump
- Shot Put
- Discus
- Javelin
- Hammer Throw
- Multi-skill event for primary 4
We also commonly train our athletes for their foundation by giving them strength-conditioning workouts so that they can be ready for the next phase of training. We also have some of the athletes who started with very poor techniques or fitness levels, yet after we trained them for a period of time, they achieved success through track and field competitions.
We often send our athletes for competitions to acquire experience and exposure, so that they would be more confident and determined to improve to keep up with others. Their success in track and field automatically provides values to them, such as confidence, teamwork and determination for their future endeavours.
We believe that medals speak louder than words. Our confidence and motivation come from all the medalists/results we have produced among our primary school athletes, secondary school athletes and master athletes.
